Obscura Studio is a web application that helps artists compare their paintings to reference images, publish their artworks with 3D previews, and optionally mint them as NFTs on the Base blockchain. The service is provided as-is. You can use it for free (limited to 3 canvases), or upgrade to Premium for multiple canvases, analytics, publishing, and NFT minting.
You sign in with your Google account. We store your projects, captures, published artworks, and preferences. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Google account. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for unlawful purposes.
You retain ownership of all images you upload (reference images and canvas captures). We do not use your content for any purpose other than providing the service to you. You may delete your projects and captures at any time.
When you publish an artwork, it becomes publicly accessible at a unique URL with a 3D preview, artwork details, and your progress captures. Published artworks can be unpublished or deleted by you or by us (for example, if they violate these terms). Publishing is reversible unless an NFT has been minted.
Premium users may optionally mint published artworks as ERC-721 NFTs on the Base blockchain. Minting is permanent and cannot be undone. Once minted:
We are not responsible for the value, transferability, or marketplace listing of any NFT. NFTs may be removed from third-party marketplaces (such as OpenSea) at their discretion.
You may delete your account from the Profile page. Account deletion removes your canvases, captures, and personal data. Published artworks that have not been minted as NFTs will also be deleted. Published artworks that have been minted as NFTs will remain publicly accessible to support the on-chain NFT metadata. Account deletion is processed within 24 hours.
We reserve the right to remove published artworks or block accounts that contain or promote illegal content, copyright infringement, or content that violates the rights of others. Each artist's NFT collection is independent - moderation actions against one artist do not affect other artists.
The Premium upgrade is a one-time payment processed by Paddle (our payment provider). The purchase is tied to your Google account and applies across devices when signed in.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uptime. We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for any loss of data or interruption of service. NFTs on the blockchain are not affected by service availability.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to losses related to NFT minting, blockchain transactions, or wallet connectivity.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual projects and captures at any time. You can delete your account from the Profile page. On account deletion, canvases and captures are removed. Published artworks without an associated NFT are also removed. Published artworks with a minted NFT are retained permanently to support the on-chain metadata.
